Utilizando este \u00e1ngulo, la fuerza de centrado se calcula en funci\u00f3n de las cargas axiales y radiales m\u00e1ximas y los factores de desalineaci\u00f3n de Dudley actualizados. La fuerza de centrado es la fuerza axial m\u00e1xima que puede transmitirse por fricci\u00f3n. En el c\u00e1lculo tambi\u00e9n se incluyen varios factores de desalineaci\u00f3n publicados. En este art\u00edculo se presenta un nuevo m\u00e9todo que considera el efecto de leva en la fuerza normal.<br \/>En este nuevo m\u00e9todo, la rigidez a lo largo de la junta estriada se puede integrar para obtener una rigidez global aplicable al an\u00e1lisis de vibraciones torsionales. La rigidez de los cojinetes tambi\u00e9n se puede calcular para diferentes niveles de desalineaci\u00f3n, lo que permite estimar con precisi\u00f3n sus dimensiones. Esto se debe a un perfil de paso incorrectamente alineado. Este problema suele pasarse por alto, ya que los dientes est\u00e1n en contacto a lo largo de todo el perfil de evolvente. Esto provoca que la carga no se distribuya uniformemente a lo largo de la l\u00ednea de contacto.
