4. Feature
Vickers high performance vane motors, when properly installed in a hydraulic circuit, convert hydraulic power into rotary mechanical power. They are positive-displacement, balanced cartridge units, with drive speed dependent on the motor size and gpm delivery to the inlet port. The units are capable of operating at high speeds and high pressures, or higher speeds at lower pressures, the full range model 50M, 51M, 45M, 46M, 35M, 36M, 25M, 26M Hydraulic CZPT CZPT Vane Motor.

The unit consists principally of a body, cover, drive cartridge and shaft. Rotary motion is developed in the cartridge, which principally consists of a ring, rotor, 10 vanes and 2 pressure plates. The rotor is splined and mates with the output shaft, which is supported by a ball bearing in the body and a bushing bearing in the cover pressure plate.
High Efficiency
Optimum running clearances and hydraulic balance assure sustained high efficiency over the life of the motor.
Mounting Flexibility
The motor’s cover can be assembled in 4 positions with respect to the body. Changing port positions is accomplished by simply rotating the cover, and the cartridge which is pinned to the cover, in 90_ increments, thus providing the optimum mounting for connecting piping.
Easy to Service
The drive cartridge is accessible by removing the motor’s cover and can normally be replaced in 10 minutes without removing the motor from the machine. The torque capability of motors within the same model series can be changed by changing the\u00a0cartridge or cam ring.
Low-wear Design
25M – 50M motors are hydraulically balanced to reduce wear and heat-producing friction. All internal inlet chambers are equally and diametrically opposed. As a result, pressure induced radial loads are balanced. Shaft bearings only have to carry external\u00a0
loads so wear is greatly reduced.
